What is CVO?
CVO is a trip planning and consulting service for travelers. CVO provides tailored itineraries inclusive of budget & travel tips, credit card recommendations and top activities. CVO stands for Chief Vacation Officer, a term that exemplifies the founder, who hopes everyone become a CVO.
The concept of a CVO is truly to travel whenever, wherever, by whomever. I am a spontaneous traveler and wanderer. My goal with CVO is to create more savvy and frequent travelers. As an avid traveler and novice blogger, I know the challenges of planning a trip. That is why I created CVO Travels.
Who is a CVO?

A CVO can be someone who just loves to travel. I have traveled to 25+ countries over 3 continents within the past 8 years. My travel journey started back in 2000, traveling outside of Trinidad- my home country, to Canada for the first time. My travels have taken me as close as Canada and as far as Australia and New Zealand. While married, weekend trips were a common theme which further drove my passion towards the concept of vacationing is a mindset. Why work all week and not enjoy the weekend, when I can experience a place, country, or activity was a regular thought in my mind.
CEO/Founder
A CVO can be your typical c-suite professional. As a teenager, I was exposed to a travel and tourism/program in high school, this was the foundation that drove my passion to one day manage my own company. Within my high school program, I had the once in a lifetime opportunity to run a virtual magazine company as CEO while learning the basics of running a company and operating as a team. Later on, I obtained my Bachelors in Hospitality & Tourism but went the corporate insurance route after college.
Licensed Property & Casualty Broker
A CVO can be your regular 9 to 5 person. Back in 2016, I moved from New York City to San Francisco and was on the job hunt. I found an amazing opportunity to join an Insurance & Financial Services company, and shortly after I obtained my California Property & Casualty Broker license. Over the next 6 years, I worked my way up from an Account Coordinator to a Senior Risk Management Advisor & New Business Marketing Lead working with pre-seed companies through IPO placements in the tech and life science space.
